HS2 is the biggest construction scheme in Europe and this website explains the work we are undertaking as we strive to keep everyone safe, healthy and well.

We use Safe at Heart as a project-wide brand and on-going campaign, covering HS2 Ltd, our network of contractors and suppliers and our work in local communities to keep health and safety at the forefront of everyone’s minds.

We’ve introduced performance measures across the programme so we can build on successes and address areas where we can improve.

We are building our legacy as we move through the different stages of construction to reflect the lessons we learn, find better ways of putting health, safety and wellbeing at the heart of the project and check our progress.

This website is run by HS2 Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.
